Colicky pain + post prandial swelling of the gland + dry mouth + halitosis (bad breath)

Wharton’s duct drains saliva from the submandibular gland to the mouth

Ix: Sialography (X-rays + contrast) to show the site of obstruction

Mx: Gentle probing, Therapeutic sialendoscopy
