When using subjunctives there is no tense marker. Subject prefix is added directly to verb stem. In Bantu verbs the final -a is changed to -e

For negative subjunctives insert negative infix ‘si’ between positive sub prefix and verb stem. Change Bantu verbs that end in -a to -e
