- perception ( T intriduces new material via visual back-up)
- understanding ( P understand T, ca parapfrase it and link it to prior knowledge)
- short-term memory (stimulated bu use of visual and exercices)
- present the info in various ways (more than once)
- be brief
- illustrate with examples

- succes orientation= most solutions of P are correct but some mistake do occur
- heterogeneity = t takes into account that there are different abilities among P

What are the four kinds of lessons ?

logical **line **
= attempt to follow a logical path. Every activity is built on the previous one

= includes variety of separate activities linked to the topic
= 1 topic provides the focus point

Jungle path
= T doesnt’ predict but creates the lesson moment by moment on the spoy responding to questions, problems and options as they come up
= improvised / undirected -
Rag bag
= lesson consist of a number of unconected activities. May be appealing to T and P, although is harder to consolidate the various subjects
=> first two invlove pre-planning and anticipating possible problems
=> third one is made up on the spot
=> fourth one may or may not invlove pre-planning
