Sewage Purpose
Used to flush human waste from the four heads, store sewage and discharge the contents of the sewage tanks

AuxSW- Flushes black side of tank, fills AFT seawater side of tank, flushes discharge lines

Gas detection Purpose
monitors the submarines air supply for presence of toxic/dangerous gases and absence of sufficent oxygen
Internal comms purpose
Intergrated internal communications system (IICS) is a sub system of ICS and provides a means of communitcating infomation within the submarine in a number of different ways dependiong on circumstances and the need as it arises

Domestic telephone system purpose
commerically available telephone exchange system that allows personel to communicate between compartments within the submarine

to provide the motive force to propel the submarine through the water on the surface and dived ahead 20+ knots and astern 4 knots
