DEFAULT JUDGEMENT;

a plaintiff may apply for default judgement where the defendant has failed to enter into an appearance to defend or to plead even after being warned of being barred if he failed to do so. May also be applied for against a party who fails to appear or trial.

SUMMARY JUDGEMENT:
A
is if the plaintiff has a particularly clear-cut claim, he may apply for summary judgement if it is clear that the defendant has no bona fide defence and is only entering appearance to delay the matter.

CONFESSION OF CLAIM OR CONSENT TO CLAIM:
A
judgement may be taken against a defendant who consented to judgement being taken against him.
