Type of graph that shows the relationship between two measured values.
What is a histogram?
Type of graph that shows the frequency of one measured variable.
What is a pie chart or circle graph?
Type of graph that shows parts of a whole.
What is a legend?
A chart associated with a graph that shows what the symbols or colors indicate.
What is an increment?
The values assigned to the spacing on a graph.
What variable appears on the x-axis (horizontal) of a line graph?
The independent variable
What variable appears on the y-axis (vertical) of a line graph?
The dependent variable
What is an observation?
Information gathered through senses or by measurement.
What is an inference?
