What are the four reasons to study the Bible?

What are the four major Bible covenants (in order)?
Abrahamic, Mosaic, Davidic, and New
What is the theme of the Pentateuch?
The partial fulfillment (which implies the partial non-fulfillment) of the covenantal promises to the patriarchs. This includes three elements: descendants, divine-human relationship, and land.

Why are there so many translations?
1.) Few read Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek
2.) We are constantly making new discoveries of these ancient languages
3.) Discoveries of earlier manuscripts
4.) Languages change
