study checklist 2 Flashcards
electrical systems
1
Q
compare series and parallel circuits
A
series= all energy is shared, one path only
parallel= multiple paths, energy on each component is same and not shared
2
Q
define current, the Si unit and how it is measured with an ammeter.
A
current is the rate at which the electrons flow past a point in a complete electric circuit.
SI unit= I. measured in Amps (Ampere).
to measure current with ammeter it must be connected in series because it experiences the same amount of current that flows in the circuit.
3
Q
determine current in series and parallel circuits.

4
