Introduction (Luke 14:25-33)
a. God wants us to count the cost of following Him and think through what it will take to be a committed disciple for life!

e. Do you see discipleship as a lifetime commitment?
f. Why do you want to be a disciple? Do you know any other disciples of Jesus?

a. Who is Jesus? God in the flesh!
b. What does “Lordship” mean?
c. Jesus died for your sins and was resurrected on the third day!
d. Why do we say “Jesus is Lord”?

Baptism is for the Forgiveness of Sins (Acts 2:36-38)
a. Baptism is necessary for Salvation!
b. Baptism for forgiveness of sins is in water.
c. One must repent/be made into a disciple before baptism!
d. If someone believed in Jesus, repented, but was not baptized, could they be saved? Why?

Quiet Times (Psalm 5:3)
a. There is nothing more important in your schedule than your daily walk with God
b. Read Bible Daily, Prayer, Singing, Journaling, Reading Spiritual Books

Conflict Resolution (Matthew 18:15-17)
a. Mature approach to dealing with sin and conflict -critical eye, healing heart.
b. Settle matters quickly so that sin is rooted out from the camp and any resentment or bitterness is avoided. Don’t have a worldly victim mentality. Take responsibility to help resolve any conflicts.
c. Confront in love. Hate the sin- love the sinner.

Repentance and Confession of Sins (1 John 1:5-10)
a. Don’t let Satan get a foothold.
b. We have true friendships with each other when we walk in the light.
c. What does “Repentance” mean?

Meetings of the Body (Hebrews 10:23-25)
a. Your Bible Talk, Your Region/House Church, Your Ministry (Singles, Marrieds, Campus, Teens) is the Kingdom!

a. Why should we give? What should our attitude be?

Dating (2 Corinthians 6:14-18)
a. Disciples date and marry disciples (believer = disciple biblically)
b. Encouragement Dates - mutual edification and getting to know your brokers and sisters. Protecting one another. Building pure relationships with brothers and sister. Marriage is hope, but Heaven is the goal.

Persecution (2 Timothy 3:12)
a. Persecution is guaranteed for every disciple and comes in many forms.
b. Where will your greatest persecution come from?
c. What do you do when you’re persecuted? Pray, reach out to the disciples, rejoice, etc.
