The AAP has a video post d on their website entitled “Are there too many vaccines?”. In the video, the doctor references a study of developmental delays on over 1,000 children that says following the CDC vaccination schedule did not result in any developmental delays. What is the name of the study and why should it not be referenced in the currently posted video?
The title of the study is “On-Time Vaccine Receipt in the First Year Does Not Adversely Affect Neuropsychological Outcomes.”
The children studied were born between 1993 and 1997. In 1995 a typical baby prior to 18 months would receive 13 total doses of 5 different vaccines. As of 2016, children prior to 18 months receive 26 doses of 10 different vaccines.
