Lupus
Lupus is an
autoimmune disease that cause systemic inflammation
Different body part could be affected including the skin, joints, kidneys, brain, lungs or heart. The immune system attacks its own tissues by mistake causing inflammation
Signs & Symptoms of Lupus
Butterfly rash, over the nose.Chest pain when taking a deep breath. Fatigue. Fever with no other cause. General discomfort, uneasiness, or ill feeling (malaise). Hair loss. Weight loss. Mouth sores.
Scleroderma
A chronic autoimmune disease that causes inflammation and changes in tissue changes. There is tightening of skin and thickening, and scarring of the heart, lungs, kidneys, blood vessels or intestines.
What is the difference between fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS)?
Pain is the predominant symptom of fibromyalgia (FM), whereas fatigue is the major complaint in CFS.
