What is the First layer (we live on) ?
A
We live on the CRUST. The crust is very thin and is surrounded by the atmosphere.

What is below the Crust?
A
Below the Crust is the Mantle.

What are the properties of the Mantle?
A
The Mantle has the properties of a Solid, except it can flow very slowly.

What takes place within the Mantle?
A
Radioactive decay takes place. This produces a lot of heat.

What type of current does the Mantle flow in?
A
Convection Currents

What is at the Center of the earth?
A
At the center of the earth is the core. We think it’s made out of Iron and Nickel.
