Prolepsis
FLASHFORWARD : a future act or development is represented as if already accomplished or existing.
Analepsis
FLASHBACK : a literary device in narrative, in which a past event is narrated at a point later than its chronological place in a story.

simple sentence
subject + verb + object
compound sentence
Two simple sentences joined together using a conjunctive. Two RELATED EVENTS.
- Eg: This house is too expensive, and that house is too small.
complex sentence
Expresses a main idea supported by other ideas which would not make sense individually. ( I like cats even though they can be insensitive.)
minor sentence
A word, phrase, or clause that works like a sentence but does not fit the grammatical requirements for one. (Eg: Where are you? At home!)
declarative sentence
To declare something/ make a statement. (I want chocolate.)
imperative sentence
to give an order/command (Do your homework).
interrogative sentence
question
exclamatory sentence
strong emotion
