Chronological
(of a record of events) following the order in which they occurred.
Prolepsis
the anticipation of possible objections in order to answer them in advance.
Analepsis
a literary device in narrative, in which a past event is narrated at a point later than its chronological place in a story.
Contrast
A contrast is a great difference between two or more things which is clear when you compare them.
Simple sentence
a sentence consisting of only one clause, with a single subject and predicate.
Compound sentence
joins two or more sentences that have related ideas of equal importance
Complex sentence
a sentence with one independent clause and at least one dependent clause.
Minor sentence
an incomplete sentence that still makes sense without all the necessary information.
Declarative
serving to declare, make known, or explain
Interrogative
having the force of a question.
Exclamatory
(of a cry or remark) expressing surprise, strong emotion, or pain.
Imperative
The sentence which is used to convey a command, a request, or a forbiddance
