Q

What are the ionic properties?

A
  1. Melting and boiling is high
    • SEABOCI therefore requires a lot of energy to break the bonds
  2. Electrical conductivity
    • solid, good insulators no free moving electrons
•liquid good conductors of electricity, free moving electrons allows current to flow
    • can also conduct electricity when dissolved in water to form solution (aq)
