Structuralism considered as an intelligent movement and a method rather than just being a group of thoughts and a theory.
It is an approach that analyzes what the work means (theme), and how it conveys its meaning (style), the relation of theme to style. Literature is a form of knowledge with intrinsic elements-style, structure, imagery, tone, and genre.

e.g. narrative elements (plot, character, conflict, setting, point of view); there are certain principles or structures that can be found inallnovels, or other types of literature.

It is essentially an opinion, supported by evidence, relating to theme, style, setting or historical or political context. It also includes discussion of the work’s content and integrates your ideas with other insights gained from research.
