Q

what is the process of forming a clot?

A
  1. Damaged blood vessel
    - the damaged vessel triggers clotting factors to come to the area
  2. Platelet plug
    - vasoconstriction decreases the amount of blood flow to the area
    - platelets form a sticky plug
  3. Clot
    - fibrin adheres to the platelets and the RBC to form an insoluble clot
