If CTB shows no bleed what medication should be started for stoke patient s
aspirin 300mg for 2 weeks
When can patients ? stroke have thrombolysis
CTB excluding haemorrhage
within 4.5 hours of symptoms starting

Patient is found to have AF as likely cause of ischaemic stroke. Wen should anticoagulation be started
after 2 weeks of aspirin
Stroke secondary prevention
clopidogrel 75mg (after 2 weeks aspirin)
atorvastatin (48hrs after stroke)
BP control
Diabetes control
