Why is the fact that SE non-normative but has guidance a strength?
Because it does not produce rules but there is guidance (6 f’s + 4 p’s) You can adapt to each situation.
Why is the fact that SE is flexible a strength?
Because it considers the situation and consequences for example a pregnancy as a result of rape. Can also move away from laws.
Why is the fact that SE follows the teachings of Jesus a strength?
Because this means that Christians can relate to this and it can be used as a Christian ethic. It’s only absolute principle is agapeic love.
Why is the fact that SE is forward looking a strength?
Because it is ‘an ethic for man come of age’ because it doesn’t look at the past and say what is right and wrong but looks at a way forward.
What are the 4 strengths of SE?
Is is non-normative but has guidance.
