Blanch gets along with Mitch so well because Blanche instantly took an interest in Mitch when she first laid eyes on him . They both also have a shared interest in a sonnet by Mrs Browning
How does Williams focus on masculinity?
(scene 3)
At the start of scene three all of the men playing poker are presented as being “at the peak of their physical manhood” I would say this is describing men when they are playing an intense game and throughout the whole game Stanley keeps getting more intense leading to him physically hurting his wife. This show how William uses Stanley to focus on masculinity throughout scene three.
