Q

What is meant by position before submission?

A

In chess it can be tempting to rush straight for the king, but this can lead to failure. Controlling the position can allow the path to victory to unfold naturally.

Q

What is meant by the hardest move to find?

A

In chess the right move can initially look or feel wrong. A retreat or loss of a piece can sometimes be more beneficial in the long run.

Take time to think about what ways you could sacrifice, lose or retreat in your current situation that would lead to success in the long run.
