What is the purpose if storyboards?
-let the director see how the
sections of the film will fit together
-show the action that will take place so that actors know how the film will be shot
-show camera operators how to shoot each part of a film
-show animators and editors how to fit parts of the product together
-shows how long each sections should be so the product can be produced to the right length
-shows the production crew what equipment is needed for each scene
Why are story boards used?
So that everyone knows in advance whats required for each shot and hot the shots fit together.
What is a work plan?
A work plan is used to plan the order of jobs the need to be compleated to get to the end of a project.
How are workplans usually used for?
The project managers.
What do work plans often include?
Title tasks Activites Duration of tasks Time scale Contingency time Milestones
What are the reasons for sing workplans?
-plan the order of tasks to make sure the final deadline is met
-plan what activities need to be done to complete each task
-make sure tasks and activities follow on from each other sensibly (workflow)
-makes it easier for a project manager to divide up jobs between team members
-makes sure everyone in a team knows what to do and what deadlines there are

What is workflow?
Workflow is getting tasks and activites in the right order based on things that have already been done.
What software can be used to make work plans?
- office software, Word or Exel
- Specialist project manegment software
- Online tools such as google docs or a tool such as teamgantt
What can scripts be used for?
TV shows films youtube radio programs adverts animations
What is the purpose of scripts?
-show the words for actors or voiceover artists
-provide direction for actors so they know how to say words
-show sound effects to add
-show music to add
-give information to directors
and sound engineers
-give information to other
members of a production crew
-show a client what has been
planned for a productio

How can you make a sript?
