  • insert cleaning rod from chamber end of the bore to avoid damaging muzzle
  • push an oily patch through the barrel
  • clean the action and outside of firearm
  • wipe all parts with a lightly oiled rag

What is consider pointing a firearm in an unsafe direction?

A

It depends on where you are. Remember that bullets can go through walls and ceilings. Never point a firearm at anyone else or yourself to avoid unintentional fire damage.
