121(1) - stop to conduct a search without a warrant
121(2) - stop to execute a search warrant

Under s10 what are your powers/duties once you’ve stopped a vehicle?

A
  • Can ask anyone to give Name, DOB, address, IF you have RGTS they’re unlawfully at large or have committed an offence.
  • Can search vehicle if RGTB person at large is in there.
  • Can search vehicle for EM related to offence if person sought has been arrested, or seen fleeing vehicle

Must tell driver subject of proposed search.
