What is the reaction time?
The reaction time is the time between the driver spotting a hazard and taking action

When a force moves an object through a distance, energy is transferred and work is done.
What is the equation for work done
Work done= force X distance

The distance travelled in the time between a hazard appearing and the driver breaking

The braking distance
Why can work done be measured in the same units as energy?
Because work done is a Measure of energy transfer
