ACE-i or ARB (angiotensin receptor blocker) in px with hyperkalemia
Antiplatelet/Anticoagulant
Aspiring w/o PPi in those with hx of PUD
CNS and Psychotropic
Benzodiazapenes for >/=4weeks
Renal System
Metformin if <30ml/min/1.73m2
GI
Iron >200mg elemental iron QD
Resp
Benzo in acute or chronic resp failure
MSK
long term use of NSAID (>3mo) for sx OA relief if paracetamol not tried
Urogenital
Selective alpha-a selective alpha blocker in those with symptomatic orthostatic hypotension or micturation syncope
Endocrine
Oestrogen with hx of breast cancer and VTE
Drugs taht predictably increase risk of falls in older people
Benzodiazapenes
Analgesic drugs
Use of regular opioids w/o concomitant laxative
Antimuscarinic/anticholinergic drug burden
Concomitant use of 2+ drugs with antimusc/anticholinergic properties b/c risk of tox (first gen anti-hista, TCA)
