A

Stis are transmitted through unprotected sex with an infected partner through vaginal, anal or oral sex. However they can also be transmitted through pregnancy, breastfeeding and through infected blood or blood products.

A

Symptoms of herpes begin within 2-20 days of the initial infection. The infection starts off by tingling, burning and irritation in the infected area, blisters then appear causing pain and discomfort, after 1-2 weeks the blisters crust over, then flu like symptoms will occur as well as swollen glands and head and body aches.
