Originating from Cuba, this was inspired by a slow version of mambo called “triple mambo” or a mambo with guiro (percussion instrument)

This Latin dance originated in Brazil during 19th century. The word is derived from the Angolan term “semba” which means “invitation to dance”

This name comes from the word “rumbear”, which means “going to parties, dancing, and having a good time”
