What should be performed during a sexual history
- Screen all sexually active women regularly - health hx, physical exam and lab work when indicated
- In depth sexual hx is key to id those at risk
- D/t high personal nature of the questions and social stigma assoc with STI’s a sexual hx can be challenging to both clinician and patient

delay health education and counseling until after interview once all questions asked and all answered
