People believe it is harmful to peoples health and the enviroment

- turn off lights in rooms that are not being used
- take shower instead of bath, use 70% less water
- run dishwasher only when it has a full load
- when boil a kettle only fill to the water you actually need

- use rechargeable batterie
* create a compost pile
List four ways of recyling
- bring old clothes to charity shops
- rinse old tin cans and glass bottles n’ bring to recyling centre
- bring old christmas tree to local collection centre where it can be processed in mulch for gardening
- recyle all newspapers

- repair broken appliances rather than disposing of them
* fix leaking taps, they can waster up to 90 litres per day
