Q

Q50

How is a scientist like a good detective? Use the attitudes of a science and the scientific method to discuss.

A

Scientists are creative, skeptical, open minded, curious, and honest. They are like a a detective because if a detective is on a case and something doesn’t go as plan they have to be creative, open minded, and skeptical. When detectives or scientists fill out reports they have to be honest. They have to be honest because if someone in the future tries to redo the same experiment they might think they came up with the wrong answer because the results don’t match what was in the report. They have to be curios to be interested in their jobs.
