Gimble ring pivots on the gimbal housing. The
gimbal ring, controlled by the steering arm, can move from side to side,
turning the drive unit for directional control.

Tilt the drive to a 45 degree angle. Remove the fill/drain screw and the
vent plug from the drive unit and allow the oil to drain completely.
2. Position the drive unit so the anti-ventilation plate is level.
3. Use a lubricant pump to fill the drive unit (using the fill/drain hole)
until the oil level is even with the bottom edge of the vent hole with the
drive level.
4. First, reinstall the oil vent plug and the new sealing washer without
removing the lubricant pump from the fill/drain hole; this will create a
vacuum effect so that when you remove the fill hose, you lose less oil.
