a plate, usually triangular in shape, use to connect two or more members, or to add strength to a framework
Gusset Plate
refers to steel bar usually of 16mm or 20mm diameter rod attached at the center or end points of the span of the purlins
Sag Rod
a structural or rolled steel in C shape used in steel construction; mosty used on steel roofing frame as purlins
Channel
a brace or any piece of a frame which resists truss in the direction of its own length; may be upright, diagonal or horizontal
Strut
a short pi, of a malleable metal such as iron, steel copper with ah head at one end, used to unite two metal plates by passing it through a hole in both plates and then hammering down the point to form a second head
rivet
a connection between two members which are riveted together

a gastight joint obtained by uniting metal parts, such as iron and steel that require welding
