Why do we use a steamer?

- To create a calming and de-stressing effect on the mind.
Benefits of Facial Steaming
- If you are prone to mild acne, steaming can create a clearer skin due to the moisture which softens the surface layer of dead skins cells (stratum corneum). This in turn helps to free any dead cells, dirt, bacteria or other trapped matter allowing for easier extractions.that could be causing breakouts, allowing your skin to better absorb any other products you might use after the steaming.
- Steaming will relax the skin (of all types) and allow for easier removal of skin conditions such as comedones, milia and pustules.
- This will only happen if the steamer is applied correctly to the skin and the correct distance away depending on the particular skin you are working with.
- The warm humidity from steaming also increases perspiration of the skin. Sweat consists mainly of water, however it is also combined with small amounts of your body’s waste matter and toxins. stimulate blood circulation.
- In this case, it is critical that you pat the skin dry and pass over the skin with a toner to eliminate the elimination of toxins.
- Steaming can also increase the circulation in your facial skin and help to give you a warm, colorful glow.
- In doing so, through the expansion of the pores, it also allows for a deeper penetration of products further on in the facial.
