How did Scrooge find the second spirit?
He followed the light and it lead him to the room where the spirit was sitting.
Describe the scene when Scrooge found the second spirit
It looked like a garden and it had berries, holly, mistletoe, ivy, and vines.
Who was the second spirit and what did he look like?
He was a “jolly giant” and was the ghost of Christmas present. He had a long green robe and dark brown curls.
Describe the first place they went.
They went to the London town square where everyone was happy.
What was the second place the visited?
They went to Scrooge’s clerk’s house (Bob Cratchit)
Who was Tiny Tim?
Tiny Tim is Bob’s son who needs a crutch to walk.
What did Scrooge ask the ghost about Tiny Tim?
Scrooges asked if Tiny Tim would live.
What was the ghost’s reply?
The spirit said that if things didn’t change he would.
Describe the Bob Cratchit’s toast to Scrooge.
He was thankful that Scrooge gave him the day off but Mrs. Cratchit was mad at him but still toasted with the family. “God bless us everyone!” - Tiny Tim.
What were some of the places the Ghost took? What did Scrooge find at each place?
He took Scrooge to a ship and a coal miners camp and even though they didn’t have much they were still happy.
What did Scrooge’s nephew and nieces say about him?
They were talking about how he was very greedy.
What did Scrooge think when he heard the harp music?
It reminded him of his past and his sister.
What did Scrooge do while his nephew and the others were playing games?
He joined in even though they couldn’t see him.
Describe the Yes and No game. What was the subject of the game?
Where someone has think of something and people have to guess what it is with yes or no questions.
How did Scrooge feel by the time he and the Spirit left his nephew’s house?
He felt happier and “thanked them.”
