A

What are the two aids to interpretation

A

Extrinsic (external) evidence like dictionaries, Hansard and explanatory notes

Intrinsic (internal) evidence by looking at the statute itself (Short Title, Long Title, Preamble, Marginal Notes, Punctuation, Example and Schedules).
