if a citizen of Zambia commits an offence outside Zambia that if wholly done within Zambia would be an offence he or she can be tried and punished in Zambia for the offence.

what is established in section 6 (2) of the penal code

if an offence is done partly in Zambia and partly outside of Zambia the person or persons who commit the offence can be tried and punished in Zambia, as though the offence was wholly done in Zambia.

what is established in section 6(3) of the penal code

If a person has already been punished for the offence that they have committed outside Zambia that if wholly done in Zambia would be an offence the person will not be re- punished in Zambia.
