1
Q

Why BACIPS design is necessary for my research

A

BACIPS allows for assessment of treatment effect size in cases where a treatment is not replicated spatially or where random assignment of sites is not possible.

Q

What does the difference between the Control & Impact site during the before period capture?

A

spatial variation; provides an estimate of the expected difference between the two sites in the After period if no intervention occurred

Q

What assumptions are made by the BACIPS approach?

A

that without restoration (or other more general intervention), the difference between the means of the impact and control sites would be constant over time
