Statin Anti-hyperlipidemic Agents
Indications:
Lowers cholesterol levels to prevent heart attack or other problems. Used in
combination with diet program to lower cholesterol

Common Side Effects:
Constipation or diarrhea. Dizziness, mood changes, trouble sleeping. Headache or joint pain. Trouble urinating, discomfort when urinating, or change in volume/frequency Mild stomach upset, gas, indigestion

Adverse Side Effects:
Allergic reaction: Itching or hives,
swelling in face or hands, swelling or
tingling in mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing.
Chest pain or tightness.
Muscle pain, aches, weakness, or cramps.
New or worsening swelling.
Stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, and loss of appetite.
Unexplained fever.
Unusual bleeding or bruising.
Dark, tarry, or bloody stool.
Yellow skin or eyes
