centre of mass
a body behaves as if all the mass was concentrated in the centre of mass
centre of gravity
a body behaves as your weight is focused on a point known as the centre of gravity. this is the same as the centre of massif the body is in a uniform gravitational field

multiply one of the forces by the perpendicular distance between the lines of action forces
principle of moments
for an object in equilibrium the sum of anticlockwise moments about a pivot is equal to the sum of clockwise moments
