How does elevation and proximity to the equator affect climate?
Elevation affects climate due to the fact that as you move higher above sea level temperatures become cooler. Proximity to the equator affects climate because of the Suns warming rays on the equator all year round. The closer you are to the equator the warmer the climate.
What are the main sources of fresh water in the United States?
Lakes, rivers, streams and groundwater.
