Temporary License

active for up to 180 days, may be issued to a qualified person when a producer becomes disabled or deceased or enters active service in the armed forces.

Continuation of License

notified to continue their licenses 90 days prior to their renewal month
by the last day of the producer’s birth month during the second year after issuance and then by the last day of the producer’s birth month every other year thereafter.

Letter of Clearance

Prior to issuing a letter of clearance, the producer must surrender his or her license for cancelation

LTC training

must complete a one-time long-term care training course of at least 16 hours, 8 of which must consist of general long-term care and 8 of which must be specific to long-term care partnerships and in a classroom setting

Annuity training

Answer 5

insurance producers who sell, solicit, or negotiate annuity products must complete a one-time four-hour training course by December 31, 2011.
