Internal aspects: it implies the supreme power of the state over all people, associations and everything within its territory. It has power to maintain law and order and protect the life and property of people.

External sovereignty: it implies independence or freedom of the state. It ensures that the state is externally independent and free to adopt its own foreign policy and international relations
