What are the steps for a normal engine start?

A

When the ENG START switch light is pressed, the:

  • ISOL valve opens
  • both engine bleed SOVs open
  • associated start valve opens
  • air turbine starter ATS engages
  • both PACK valves close.

When the starter cut out occurs:
all valves return to their previously selected position
