EIV Penalty

A

Properties that receive an MOR finding for improper use of EIV are required to receive an EIV Penalty equivalent to 5% of the approved HAP payment on their voucher until the finding is corrected. The HAP Department is notified of the EIV penalties through an automated email sent to the Director of HAP, HAP Manager, and HAP Subsidy Coordinator when the Compliance Department updates CABase with the MOR findings.

Gross Rent Change

A

Each year properties get a new Rent Schedule with updated gross rents. If a property submits a voucher with a GRC, we will need to implement the GRC in HDS.

Misc Request

A

Miscellaneous accounting requests are amounts added to or taken from by the voucher that cannot be made via regular adjustments. These requests can be added to the voucher for many different reasons and can be added by the site or by SHCC.

A

Repay

A

Repayment agreements are necessary when a property discovers that a household has received an overpayment of assistance. The household must return the funds HUD. If the household can’t pay all of what is due up front, they can enter into a Repayment Agreement with the property to return the funds to HUD in increments.
