Hertzsprung-Russell Diagram

A

2 astronimers that produced a diagram showing the relationship between a stars temp and luminosity
Diagonal band called the main sequence which is where the stars with a range of temp and luminosity
Cooler but brighter stars appear as giants towards the top right while hotter but dimmer stars appear as dwarfs in the bottom left
