Regular Plurals
- You only add an -a

Clause

All of the following 3 (ind clause, dep clause and phrase) can be combined into a sentence
“although I’ve been snacking all day, I am hungry for sweets”
Independence clause
Simple sentence that can stand on its own
“I am hungry”
Dependence clause
Cannot stand on its own because it doesn’t finish a complete thought
“Although I’ve been snacking all day….”
Phrase
Group of words that doesn’t have a subject and a verb and is used as a single part of speech
“For sweets”
Indirect object
Person or thing to whom or which something is done
Interjection
Words or phrases that represent short bursts of emotion
Modifiers
Word or group of words that provides description for another word
Predicate
The part of a sentence that explains what the subject does or is like
Pronoun
