A

Put leaf in boiling water

*To break open cell wall and membrane, softening leaf. To get inside or something out of leaf.

A

Put leaf in ethanol (flammable(don’t put above flame in boiling water))

*so it removes chlorophyll

Leaf turns crispy and white. Therefore turn off Bunsen burner and put leaf in hot water to soften it.
