  • Workers wages increased and their working hours shortened.
  • New homes were built, 1924-1931 around 2 million new homes were built, this also provided extra employment.
  • 1927 an insurance system was set up to help workers if they were unemployed.

  • Politically- women were given more representation, they were awarded the vote and could enter politics more easily, 112 women represented the german people in the reichstag.
  • More freedoms- go out by themselves or with their friends more social activities and clubs.
