Side Squat Stance
A
Hachi Dachi. 1. Weight 50\50 each leg. 2. Shoulder width apart. 3. Knees bent slightly so can’t see toes. 4. Knees pointed outward. 5. Feet pointing straight ahead. 6. Outside feet sealed or seated into floor.

Front Stance
A
- Zenkustu Dachi. 2. Weight distrib. 60% front 40% back. 3. Front leg bent, knee above foot. 4. Front foot faces foreword 5. Back leg straight. 6. Back foot pointed 45 degree toward corner.

Cat Foot Stance
A
- Neko Ashi Dachi. 2. Weight 90% back leg, 10% front. 3. Ball of front foot touching floor approximately 1 1/2 to 2 foot lengths from ball of back foot. 4. Back leg crouched and foot toward corner. 5. Front leg bent facing front. 6. Shoulders and hips pointed 45 degrees toward corner.

- Kokutsu Dachi. 2. Weight 60% back leg, 40% front leg. 3. Back leg crouched-foot out to side. 4. Front leg slightly bent-faces forward. 5. Shoulders & Hips 45 degree toward corner.
